Glen Garioch 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt from one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries, founded in 1797 at Oldmeldrum in Aberdeenshire. The distillery is known for a full-bodied, richly flavoured house style, with its spirit drawing depth from extended maturation in oak.
This expression has been matured for fifteen years, marrying the influence of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak casks to build layers of fruit, spice and sweetness. The nose offers dark berries and dried fruits alongside sweet vanilla, while the palate is thick and full-bodied, showing dried fruit, cinnamon and warm baking spice. Heather honey carries through into a long, gently spiced and woody finish.
