Awarded Double Gold medals at the 2006 and 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Flor de Cana 18 Years Old Rum is the pride of Nicaragua. Opening a bottle releases the rich aromas of nuts, cavendish, caramel, gingerbread and spring roses. On the tongue, it is salty sweet with an intense vanilla flavour being heavily accented with a complex offering of peaches, pralines, bay leaf, Turkish delight, saltwater toffee and more gingerbread. Flor de Cana 18 Years Old Rum's finish is long with a surprising earthiness and lingering caramel and dried fruit accents.
