Elm Bomba Rosso is the brainchild of Madeleine Marson, a project sitting under the broader Vinea Marson umbrella in Heathcote, Victoria. The ELM name is taken from the initials of the Marson sisters — Emily, Laura and Madeleine — while Vinea Marson, founded by parents Mario and Helen Marson, has long championed Italian varietals grown on the ancient Cambrian soils of Central Victoria.
A Heathcote blend built around Shiraz with Sangiovese and Nebbiolo. Expect a complex, layered red with dark berry fruit, blackcurrant, liquorice and a thread of dried herbs. The palate is rich and intense with the freshness of Sangiovese and the characteristic dry, fine tannin of Nebbiolo adding grip and shape.
Hand-picked from Heathcote vineyards farmed in a minimal-intervention, sustainable style. Fermentation is traditional, with extended time on skins, and the wine is matured in seasoned oak to preserve fruit purity.
