This wine comes from a Grand Cru vineyard in the commune of Beblenheim. The soil is composed of pebbles derived from interstratified limestone and marl from the Oligocene period. This plot is situated at an altitude of approximately 220 to 270 meters. The vineyard receives relatively little rainfall, less than 500 mm per year.
Andrée Trapet, wife of the renowned Jean-Louis Trapet, emphasizes that this wine should be enjoyed with wisdom and respect. Take the time to gather with good friends and prepare a truly exquisite dinner before opening this bottle. Why not cook trout au bleu or sea bream tartare with lime? The wine has a deep golden hue. If you bring your nose to the glass, you will have the pleasure of recognizing notes of exotic fruits paired with white fruits. On the palate, this wine is warm, offering a beautiful balance and a generous body.
