A side project from Jean-Marc Roulot, the celebrated Meursault producer, this lemon liqueur is made from organic Sicilian Petronio lemons using a combination of infusion and distillation in an antique copper still. At 35% ABV, it sits well above typical limoncello territory.
What sets it apart is restrained sweetness — at 140 grams per litre of sugar, it's far drier and more intensely citrusy than standard liqueurs, with a touch of elderflower adding complexity. The finish is bright, clean and refreshingly tart. Superb neat, over ice, or as a distinctive cocktail ingredient from one of Burgundy's most respected winemaking names.
