Domaine Henri Boillot Volnay 2019 750ml

This is aromatically to the Bourgogne but with more elegance and notably more spice. The middle weight flavors offer a step up in volume as well with a more sophisticated mouthfeel that carries over to the detail, moderately stony and equally saline-inflected finale. While this is actually a premier cru in disguise, it is still being declared as a villages wine and offer fine quality for its level.
