A classic Southern French dry rosé from the Pays d'Oc IGP, produced under the Côte Lavande label out of Château Canet, a 19th-century estate in the Minervois region of the Languedoc. The Lemstra family farms the property sustainably, with HVE level 3 certification and a focus on expressive, terroir-driven Mediterranean wines.
Made from the classic Languedoc rosé grapes (typically Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah), this is a pale, pretty and thoroughly Mediterranean style. Expect aromas of red berries, watermelon and a delicate floral lift, followed by a crisp, dry palate of raspberry, redcurrant and pink grapefruit, with a clean, refreshing finish.
Grapes are harvested early and gently pressed with short skin contact to give the wine its pale colour, then cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and primary fruit character.
