Barrell Craft Spirits Cask Strength DHCI Pinot Noir Whiskey 750ml

Barrell Craft Spirits, based in Louisville, Kentucky, is known for its expertise in independent bottling in the United States. They have a longstanding tradition of sampling, selecting, and blending barrels from various locations in the US and Canada.

This blend of KY Whiskeys, the largest component being 18-year-old KY whiskey, was finished in a Marine Layer Lyra Pinot Noir Barrel.

This was one of my favorite projects we have embarked on in the past few years. We took the same blend of Kentucky corn whiskey, Kentucky bourbon, Indiana Whiskey, and Indiana Rye and finished it in several different expressions of Marine Layer Wine. We blended a high-proof but very round, balanced whiskey.
