Central to the farm's operations are two unique copper stills. The custom made hybrid column and copper pot stills are uniquely fitted with a pig tail to fit the theme of the distillery. The first still, Mortimer, is steeped in farm lore, named after a pig from the property's past. An intriguing tale surrounds Mortimer, whose untimely demise at the hands of a younger pig resulted in an unusual tribute—the mounted head of the aggressor now adorns the distillery's tasting room. Legend has it that the bacon from the aggressor was as tasty as WhistlePig whiskey.

Amidst the farm's storied landscape stands a farmhouse, once home to Dave Pickerel, a luminary in WhistlePig's history.
