Bellarine Distillery, founded in 2015 by Russ Watson & Lorelle Warren, stands as the first distillery on the Bellarine Peninsula since the 1980s. Russ's background in boilermaking enabled him to design and construct a bespoke distillery nestled within a lush garden adorned with heritage fruit and nut trees. In 2017, Nicky and Craig Michael joined the team, with Craig, equipped with a Bachelor of Science and Diploma in Distilling, assuming the role of Head Distiller. Commercial production of premium gin and single malt whisky commenced in 2018, inspired by a rich tradition of whisky distillation and maturation, with a strong emphasis on science, experimentation, and innovation.

At Bellarine Distillery, they embrace tradition while embracing the power of science and experimentation to craft truly exceptional whiskies. Their dedication to exploration and innovation is reflected in their ongoing pursuit of rare and remarkable casks, showcased in their 'RARE' limited series.
