This artisanal spirit is a 100% Barbadian rum produced at the West Indies Rum Distillery. It is the result of a meticulous four-year development process that pairs aged Barbados rum with a natural infusion of locally grown coconuts. Ripe coconuts are handpicked, cut, and sun-dried to concentrate their natural oils before being infused into a blend of column and pot still rums. The final product is a "coconut bomb" that requires approximately one whole coconut to produce every liter of rum.
The aroma is intense and natural, leading with fresh coconut pulp, vanilla, and subtle hints of cinnamon and sesame oil. On the palate, it is exceptionally round and creamy without being overly syrupy, offering flavors of coconut milk, ripe banana, and green ginger, with sweet touches of molasses and milk chocolate. The finish is very long and warming, lingering with toasted coconut, pepper, and vanilla.
