Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Bourgogne Aligote 2022 750ml

A small parcel in Hautes Côtes de Beaune – 50-yo vines of a type with a slightly rosé skin – aged in 350L old barrels. The only wine with full malo in the range.

Delicate and direct with a certain alluring strictness - this much underrated variety is well suited to the frost prone Hautes Cotes -and where Chardonnay can often get a little round and flat, Aligote natural acidity allows the terroir to shine. Good amount of cut and veuve here to match with richer dishes or just on its own as the perfect Apero!
