Grenache forms the core of the blend, supported by Mourvèdre and Syrah, with smaller contributions from Counoise, Vaccarèse, Muscardin and Cinsault. Each variety plays a measured role: Grenache provides breadth and warmth, Mourvèdre brings structure and depth, and Syrah adds spice and definition. The diversity of the estate’s sites, from the galet covered plateau of La Crau to the finer sandy and limestone soils surrounding the village, builds a layered complexity into the final cuvée.
All grapes were destemmed, fermented in traditional vats and matured in large neutral foudres to protect fruit purity. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, the 2023 stands out for its seamless texture and fine tuned energy. It is a vintage of quiet concentration, dense in flavour but not in weight, designed to evolve over decades while remaining beautifully composed in its youth.
