The estate, founded by Yves' grandfather in 1920, now spans around 70ha across five appellations; Yves took over in 1987 and is widely credited with helping to revive the Condrieu hillsides.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e'La Petite Côte' is a cuvée name (not a district), sourced from old Viognier vines on south and south-east-facing terraces around Chavanay, planted on muscovite-rich granite. Expect a rich, expressive Viognier with apricot, quince, peach and floral notes of lilac, rose and violet, alongside honeyed depth and a refreshing, gently spicy finish with a thirst-quenching bitterness.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFarmed sustainably, with no insecticides and organic fertiliser. Hand-harvested and pressed, spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in barrel, with malolactic fermentation completing in barrel and foudre.
