Founded in 1984 by Rita Tua and her husband Virgilio Bisti, the estate is one of the most celebrated Super Tuscan addresses, making wines of uncompromising quality in the heart of the Tuscan metalliferous hills.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePer Sempre is the estate's 100% Syrah cuvée and was said to be a favourite of the late Virgilio. The 2022 is a potent, tightly wound wine built for cellaring, showing freshness and structure with savoury, floral and mineral notes around a core of berry and cherry fruit charged with spice and pepper.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Suvereto terroir, with its clay-silt soils and Mediterranean climate at around 100 metres altitude, gives the wine a distinctive saline and iron-like quality that sets it apart from other Tuscan Syrahs.
