Moganazzi, in the commune of Castiglione di Sicilia, is one of the estate's Premier Cru vineyards and began life as a tiny plot producing only a handful of barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis Etna Rosso is made entirely from Nerello Mascalese vines aged 70 to 90 years, grown at 700 to 750 metres on volcanic soils of medium depth, with ash-rich topsoil lying over layers of stone. It shows a dense texture paired with a luminous, fresh character, opening with an attractive burst of red cherry, wild berries and earthy volcanic notes.
