Feudo di Mezzo is one of the estate's Premier Cru sites, a small vineyard of just over a hectare in the commune of Castiglione di Sicilia.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePlanted to Nerello Mascalese vines of 60 to 80 years of age, the vineyard sits at around 600 metres on deep, mixed volcanic soils rich in ash. This low elevation and gentle terroir give a velvety, shaded style of Etna Rosso with an enveloping bouquet of red fruits, spice and resinous herbs, with autumnal undertones.
