Inspired by the Mosel but true to Tasmania, the winery makes Riesling at four levels of sweetness, with each wine named for its residual sugar in grams per litre. The vineyard is planted to several Riesling clones on their own roots at high density, and the wines are notably lower in alcohol than most Australian Rieslings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe R9 sits at the dry end of the range, with about nine grams per litre of residual sugar fully woven into the wine's bright acidity so that it reads as dry and beautifully balanced.
