Planted to 30-year-old Chardonnay vines on clay-limestone soils with south-east exposure, this site produces fruit of exceptional concentration and mineral depth. The grapes are hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts as whole clusters, and aged in custom 456-litre Francois Freres barrels before a further six months in stainless steel. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOn the palate, this Puligny-Montrachet is silky and electric, offering pure, sapid fruit with notes of lemon pith, white flowers and citrus blossom.
