The palate is generously concentrated with cassis, black cherry and mocha flavours, classical fine-grained tannins and a claret-like, cedary finish that carries a pure black currant plume.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHand-picked fruit is given extended skin contact during fermentation for greater complexity and finesse, followed by maturation in French oak.
