Jean-Marc Pillot farms both red and white vines here, and his white holding is a small parcel of a little under 0.3 hectares, first planted in 1951 with a portion replanted in 1988. It was the first of the domaine's vineyards to be converted to organic farming under Antonin Pillot.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis premier cru white combines the finesse of the northern Chassagne sites with a little more depth, offering citrus, white peach and pear alongside notes of fresh almond and a pronounced stony, saline minerality. The palate is focused and long, with the concentration to age gracefully.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Pillot family has tended vines in Chassagne-Montrachet for four generations, and Jean-Marc has led the domaine since 1991.
