It was one of the original quality pioneers of the region and the first estate there to invest properly in modern equipment and trained winemakers, at a time when Albariño was barely known outside Spain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEtiqueta Verde, the green label, is the estate's entry point and draws on more than a hundred small parcels on granite soils beside the Arousa estuary, farmed by around eighty grower families the bodega has worked with for over thirty years across Cambados, Vilanova and Meaño. The fruit is picked by hand and destemmed, given a short pre-fermentation maceration of about eight hours to build aroma and structure, fermented in tank on indigenous yeasts and then left on its lees for at least four months.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe style is bright, light bodied and thoroughly Atlantic. Citrus, green apple and white peach are lifted by white flowers and a distinct salty tang, with sharp acidity and a clean, mineral finish.
