Small hollows in the rock, from which the site takes its name, hold slate and stony soils that give the wine its distinctive mineral signature.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGrown on such a sheltered, sun-drenched slope, the fruit enjoys a long ripening season and reaches full maturity while retaining bright acidity.
