The palate is silky and finely drawn, tannins soft but present, acidity keeping everything lifted through a long, gently spiced finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDomaine Yvon Clerget traces its roots in Volnay to 1268, and Thibaud Clerget, the twenty eighth generation, has led the cellar since 2015 after working with Henri Boillot, Domaine Drouhin in Oregon and Charles Van Canneyt at Hudelot-Noellat.
