The palate is medium bodied and nicely textured without ever turning heavy, and there is a chalky, saline finish that keeps it fresh and food friendly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThibaud Clerget, the twenty eighth generation of the family, has been making the wines since 2015 after training with Henri Boillot, at Domaine Drouhin in Oregon and with Charles Van Canneyt at Hudelot-Noellat. The domaine now farms about ten hectares across Volnay, Pommard and Meursault.
