Its name reflects the bridge between her birthplace, South Korea, and France, where she was raised, and 577 is her lucky number. Since founding her domaine in 2013, she has farmed her old vines in Morgon organically and at very low yields.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe wine is a tiny selection from a particular section of her Côte du Py vineyard where the berries are naturally smaller, giving greater concentration. It is fermented in concrete with a high proportion of whole bunches and a long maceration, then given an extended élevage in oak barrels before bottling without filtration. The result is powerful yet elegant, with calculated precision, deep dark fruit, violet and spice. The medium-bodied palate is driven by the Côte du Py's characteristic minerality and finishes long and structured.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDecant well ahead of serving and pour it into large Pinot Noir glasses with roast game birds, venison or aged hard cheeses.
