The soils here are sandy and rocky. Alexandrine Roy bought this small block in 2010 and released her first La Justice from the 2011 vintage, and its vines are younger than those that go into the domaine's Vieilles Vignes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe 2023 is a gracious, precise Gevrey with fine, ripe tannins and a delicate yet deep profile. A saline note and a clear mineral thread run through the palate, along with the concentration that comes from small, millerandé berries. The vintage gave fresh, energetic wines, and Alexandrine has said that careful selection of the grapes at harvest was the essence of the year.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDomaine Marc Roy is a small family estate of around four hectares, now in the hands of Alexandrine, the fourth generation, who made her first vintage in 2003 and still works alongside her father Marc.
