A significant slice of Clos Saint-Jacques was acquired in 1954 in the name of Charles Rousseau.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA Premier Cru regarded by many as worthy of Grand Cru status, Clos Saint-Jacques sits on a south-east-facing slope just above the village. 100% Pinot Noir. Expect a wine of mineral complexity and great precision, with the typical gamy, savoury aromatics of the climat, alongside pure red fruit, blood orange notes and exquisite definition through to a long, taut finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHand-harvested and pneumatically pressed, then matured in 100% new French oak barrels from François Frères.
