Dried black cherry and plum sit alongside forest floor, leather, truffle and a note of sweet spice. The palate has softened and turned silky, with the tannins resolved into the fruit and a long, savoury, gently earthy finish. It is drinking beautifully.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDavid Duband has run the family domaine at Chevannes since 1991, converting all the vineyards to organic farming by 2006 and using generous proportions of whole bunches throughout the range.
