The vineyard sits at altitude near Kyneton in one of the coolest wine-growing spots in the country, and has been farmed under certified organic and biodynamic practices for many years, with all wines grown, made and bottled on the property.

The Original Block Pinot Noir is drawn from the estate's first Pinot Noir plantings, established in 1995 with clones 114, 115 and MV6.
