The vines lie in a single block on a Günz gravel plateau, and the property is one of the few in Bordeaux equally renowned for both colours it produces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe red is led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and a little Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, matured around eighteen months in French oak with roughly 60 per cent new wood. The white is built on Sauvignon Blanc with touches of Sauvignon Gris and Sémillon, raised on lees in barrel for about a year. Most of those barrels are made at the estate's own cooperage, established in 1995.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn red, the house style runs to cassis and dark berries with smoke, graphite and toasted spice over polished tannins. In white, it is citrus, white peach and flint with a creamy texture and a long saline finish.
