The estate was bought by the Cazes family in 2017, since when the vineyard and the cellars have been steadily reworked.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAround 40 hectares of gravel soils are planted to roughly 62 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon and 36 per cent Merlot with a little Petit Verdot. The wine is matured for about twelve months in French oak barrels, a high proportion of them new.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe style is svelte and elegant by Pauillac standards. Blackcurrant and dark cherry are framed by cedar, graphite and fine spice, with supple tannins and a fresh, lifted finish.
