It is the most site-specific expression of the estate's blending, and it spends an extended period on lees before disgorgement.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe 2018 release is generous and ripe in the way that warm Marne Valley seasons tend to be, with poached stone fruit, baked apple and candied citrus peel on the nose, lifted by brioche and toasted nuts from time on lees. The palate is full and creamy, with a fine persistent mousse, a savoury undertow of almond and dried herb, and enough acidity to keep the richness in balance through a long, dry finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDehours \u0026amp; Fils is a four generation family estate at Cerseuil in the commune of Mareuil-le-Port, on the left bank of the Marne Valley about 15 kilometres from Epernay.
