The casks are first fill and filled while still wet and freshly decanted, and the whisky enjoys full term ageing before being bottled at natural colour without chill filtration.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGolden in the glass, it opens with burnt orange, caramel and nutmeg alongside dried figs, marzipan and a hint of roasted tobacco. The palate is delicate and soft, layering raisins, sultanas and tropical fruit with touches of fresh strawberry, dry oak, spice and a gentle peppery edge.
