His own vines are certified organic and farmed biodynamically, and his purchased fruit comes only as grapes from growers farming sustainably, organically or biodynamically.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNuits-Saint-Georges is an important village for Leroux. In generous years he can make several wines here, including a lieu-dit bottling from Les Allots and premiers crus from Les Cailles, Aux Thorey and Les Boudots. This village wine is a blend of climats, which in recent vintages has drawn on Aux Saint-Jacques and Aux Herbues on the Vosne-Romanée border, the northern part of Fleurières just south of the town, and the stony Les Tuyaux at the northern end of the appellation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade with ambient yeasts, a maceration of around three weeks and ageing mostly in barrel with no more than 30% new oak, it pairs the dark fruit and earthy depth typical of Nuits-Saint-Georges with the lift and perfume of its Vosne-side sites.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eVintages may vary.
