Meursault sits at the very heart of his white wine holdings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis village Meursault is a blend of several parcels that together span the appellation's range of elevations. In recent vintages these have included Les Criots, Les Millerands, Sous la Velle, Bois de Blagny and Moulin Landin, with the higher white marls of Bois de Blagny lending a firm mineral spine. The oldest vines in the mix date back to 1944.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grapes are pressed as whole clusters and fermented with native yeasts, then aged on lees for 12 to 18 months in foudres and 300 to 600 litre barrels, with only around 15% new oak.
