His estate vineyards are certified organic and farmed biodynamically, and he buys only grapes from like-minded growers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLeroux first made this Bourgogne Aligoté in 2016 from very old vines in Bouzeron, the Côte Chalonnaise village most closely associated with the variety. The following year he added fruit from a newly acquired estate parcel in Les Belles Roses in Meursault. The vines are Aligoté Doré, and the Bouzeron component comes from vines well over 80 years old.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade with the same care as his Côte d'Or whites, it is a bright, saline and citrus-driven Aligoté with more depth and texture than most, thanks to those old vines.
