Pinot Noir made the estate's name, but Chardonnay has been part of the story almost as long, and the home vineyards have been fully organic since 2014.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePōtiki means last born, and the wine is blended from a selection of newer plantings alongside some of the estate's more established blocks on the Martinborough Terrace. It is barrel fermented in 300 litre puncheons with indigenous yeasts, then left on lees for eleven months to build texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExpect yellow fleshed nectarine, bergamot and baked apple on the nose, with savoury edges of miso and sesame. The palate opens with a crushed shell minerality, a touch of lanolin and more of that baked apple fruit, finishing dry and textural.
