Beginning with a reserved nose (which often occurs in our cooler vintages), the 2021 Sangiovese reveals itself with a dense core – aromas of dark cherries and bright raspberries alongside a hint of cherry spice. The powerful \u0026amp; plush character similarly dominates the palate – with characteristic intensity of fruit – ripe red cherries alongside dark cherries \u0026amp; redcurrents. The elegant and integrated palate is shaped by soft, juicy tannins that are more refined than in the previous vintage. Redcurrents and a lick of amaro orange, with pleasingly bitter, well-rounded tannin integrated with the palate.
