The legendary Cascina Francia vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba was purchased in 1974, with the first vintage from the site released in 1978; the Barolo has been labelled simply 'Francia' from the 2010 vintage onwards in line with Italian naming laws.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e100% Nebbiolo from the Francia vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, one of the commune's finest sites.
